Hare Hare Vishwakarma !!!

The train was on time , about, good omen ! In this open compartment in which I was assigned (see the train listing, n°41, place I had to share with a famous south indian god, Ayappa), a kind family, full of attention for their second daughter, was facing me. No railways thugs to fight with, second good omen. The train was forwarding on its tracks and Kishkinda, mythological kingdom from the Ramayana, residence of the monkey gods was moving away from me (unless it was the other way) in the sooty smoke of the steam locomotive. The yellow and greenish plain was our landscape to watch of these first kilometers, and the heat was devastating this beginning of the afternoon under a diamond blue sky. Thirty hours of that trip, that was the price to pay to reach Indore then Mandu in Madhya Pradesh (the country of the middle), but awaiting for the arrival was left to do the contemplation of the people and the wide landscapes. There are worse activities.

In the alleys of the wagon, sellers and beggars were pacing up and down the mess, draughts in our over solicited minds. Here loneliness is an abstraction, people who like contemplation are in heaven, people who like meditation are in hell.

Here the trip stops in a dead lost train station that I don't even remember the name, Mandu is just at reached, the swaying is now behind, surely the next swaying will be a road one, a matter of opportunities.

Hare Hare Vishwakarma !!!
